Mukesh Agnihotri participated in Shri Krishna Janmashtami Festival at Kotla Kalan

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri participated in the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival at Shri Radhakrishna Temple, Kotla Kalan, Una. Arriving late Tuesday evening, he received blessings from Rashtriya Saint Baba Bal Ji Maharaj and performed the dugdhabhishek of Lord Krishna’s Bal form Shri Vigraha. Kutlahad MLA Vivek Sharma accompanied him.

On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister extended his wishes for a happy Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav, wishing everyone happiness and prosperity. Baba Bal Ji Maharaj blessed Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and MLA Vivek Sharma by presenting them with turbans and shawls.

Mukesh Agnihotri praised Baba Bal Ji Maharaj for his efforts in connecting people with God, stating that Maharaj Shri’s blessings provide him with the spiritual strength to serve the public with greater dedication and enthusiasm. The Deputy Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh for the beautification of Shri Radhakrishna Temple, Kotla Kalan. Previously, he had allocated Rs 25 lakh for the construction of a community building at the temple and addressed important issues like installing a 250 kV transformer and a grand gate to solve electricity problems.

Beautification of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple and Upcoming Festival

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that Himachal Pradesh, known as the land of holy places and temples, is home to world-famous Shaktipeeths, Siddhapeeths, and Shivalayas. The Himachal government is committed to the protection and beautification of these temples. The beautification of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple is being undertaken at a cost of around Rs 250 crore. The government is also promoting religious-cultural tourism in the state.

As part of these efforts, a three-day Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav will be organized for the first time in the Amb subdivision from September 14 to 16.

The temple committee expressed gratitude for the Deputy Chief Minister’s generous contributions and appreciated his support. They also thanked all the dignitaries who attended the event.

Among those present were Mridu Sharma, wife of Kutlahad MLA Vivek Sharma, District President of Congress Ranjeet Rana, State Congress Secretary Ashok Thakur, Dr. Rakesh Agnihotri, and other dignitaries.
