Milk will be available in Rajgarh at Rs 57 per kg
An important meeting of the Milk Producers’ Committee, Rajgarh, was held. The meeting was chaired by committee president Kapil Thakur and attended by numerous milk producers from around the Rajgarh area.
Various issues related to animal husbandry were discussed in detail at the meeting. Dairy producers present stated that animal husbandry is becoming increasingly expensive and challenging. The feed and bran given to animals are becoming increasingly costly. Furthermore, if an animal falls ill, its treatment has also become very expensive. Consequently, rising animal husbandry costs are causing dairy producers to suffer financial losses.
In view of these circumstances, it was unanimously decided in the meeting that the price of milk should be increased from Rs 55 per litre to Rs 57 per litre.
Committee Chairman Kapil Thakur stated that milk producers should pay special attention to milk quality so that pure and high-quality milk is available to the general public. During the meeting, the state Chief Minister was also thanked for increasing milk prices.
Committee Secretary Janswat said that today’s young generation is becoming increasingly alienated from agriculture and animal husbandry and is turning to vices like drug addiction, which is a matter of concern for the future. He appealed to the youth to adopt animal husbandry and make it a means of self-employment.
