Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav: A Blend of Faith, Spirituality, and Joy Concludes with Grandeur
The inaugural three-day Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav, held in Amb, Una district, concluded on Saturday with the aim of promoting religious and cultural tourism in Himachal Pradesh. The closing ceremony was graced by Rajesh Dharmani, Minister of City and Village Planning, Housing, Technical Education, Vocational, and Industrial Training. He was accompanied by Chintapurni MLA Sudarshan Bablu, Kutlahad MLA Vivek Sharma, and former minister Kuldeep Kumar.
The festival, inaugurated on 26th September by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri at Mela Ground Amb, featured religious rituals, cultural programs, and local crafts. These events were well-received by attendees, who appreciated the organizers’ efforts. The festival also provided new opportunities for local traders and bolstered tourism in the region.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal honored all special guests, including Shri Dharmani, at the closing ceremony.
Celebrating the Festival’s Success
In his address, Shri Dharmani expressed his delight at the festival’s success, noting its role in promoting religious tourism and local culture. He assured that the proposal to open two ITIs in the area, as requested by MLA Sudarshan Bablu, would be presented to the Chief Minister for immediate consideration.
MLA Sudarshan Bablu thanked the District and Sub-division administration for the festival’s successful execution and reiterated his demand for the establishment of two ITIs in Shri Chintapurni and Jol areas. He also urged critics to appreciate the festival’s success rather than protest.
The program included special honors for officers and priests of the Temple Trust. Police Superintendent Rakesh Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, SDM Amb Sachin Sharma, and other dignitaries were also present.
