Manjeet Singh Thakur joins Congress along with supporters

BJP leader Manjit Singh Thakur has joined his supporters in the Congress party. Manjit Singh Thakur was inducted into the Congress party by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu by wearing a patka at his official residence Oak Over. The Chief Minister said that the return of Manjit Singh Thakur to the Congress party will strengthen the party. He said that in the year 2019, Manjit Singh Thakur had left Congress and joined BJP, but today he has returned home to the Congress party. He said that Manjit Singh Thakur had contested the assembly elections in the year 2009 on the election symbol of Congress Party and he has also been the Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Congress Party.

Manjit Singh Thakur said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is taking many steps for the progress of Himachal Pradesh and he has joined the Congress Party after being impressed by his policies. He said that he will work dedicatedly as a soldier of the Congress Party and will contribute fully in strengthening the party. He said that Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is a visionary leader and is making continuous efforts to empower Himachal Pradesh.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur was also present on this occasion.
