Manali & Shimla shivers at minus two & minus 0.2

The dry, fogy and icy cold weather is unabatted in Himachal Pradesh as minimum temperature plummet and minimum temperature of Tourist resort Manali and Shimla recorded in minus several degrees below normal, the Met office said.
Minimum temperature of Manali was minus two degrees on Thursday , down by two degrees of yesterday.
This Capital Town was minus 0.2 and dip by five degrees of Y’day. Tourist resort Kufri was minus 1.8 degrees.
The foggy weather in Bilaspur, Una and Hamirpur disrupted vehicular traffic in the wee hours but it was mainly sunny in the rest of the day. Freezing of Water pipes partly disrupted the supply in town facing severe coldwave. 

The Mercury plummet to minus or below freezing point in subzero in the half dozen of towns and thick icy sheet of frost in Shimla, Mandi, Kullu , Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti district posing threats to movement of vehicles and commuters in wee hours.
Kaza and Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti was coldest in the state with minimum temperature at minus 15 and minus eight degree Celsius. 
Most of the National Highway and state highway closed for by district administeration for rest of winter session.
Kalpa in Kinnuar was minus six degrees and five degrees  low of y’day.
Sundernagar in Mandi district was minus 0.7 & 4 degrees down , Bhuntar in Kullu minus one & three degrees, low of y’day. Solan was minus -0.4 degrees and four degrees low of y’day.
 Tourist resort Dalhousie was  0.2 degrees, Palampur in Kangra two degrees, Dharamshala 2.8 degrees and Kangra 3.4 degrees.
Una wad  2.5 degrees, Chamba 2.9 degrees, Hamirpur 3.8 degrees, Bilaspur four degrees, Mandi 4.2 degrees, Jubberhati 4.3 degree, Ponta-Sahib in Sirmaur 3.9 degrees & Nahan 7.9 degrees.
The Met Office forecast mainly dry weather in next 24 hrs in the state.
The Met Office warned that shallow fog in Una & Sundernagar (Mandi) likely to effect visibility upto 200 m and dense fog in Bilaspur below 50m in the wee hours.
