Lions Club Shimla Supports Talented Student from St. Thomas School
In its ongoing commitment to social causes, Lions Club Shimla has once again extended its support to a deserving and talented student from St. Thomas School. The student, currently in 12th standard, comes from a financially challenged background, making it difficult for her family to meet the educational expenses.
Continuing its tradition of supporting this promising student, Lions Club Shimla has decided to sponsor her education for another year. Last year, the Club had already provided assistance, and this year, it has taken the initiative to cover her annual fee amounting to ₹30,200.
Today, President of Lions Club Shimla, Lion ManMohan Verma, along with Chairman of Lions Trust, Lion Kapil Dev Sood, and esteemed members Lion P. S. Panwar, Lion Sufal Sood, Lion Vinod, and Lion K.R. Sharma, visited St. Thomas School to present the cheque. The donation was handed over to the Vice Principal of the school in the presence of the student, ensuring she can continue her education without financial stress.
Speaking on the occasion, ManMohan Verma, President of Lions Club Shimla, reaffirmed the Club’s dedication to supporting the education of underprivileged students, emphasizing that no child should be deprived of education due to financial constraints. He expressed hope that this small gesture would help the student achieve her academic goals and secure a bright future.
