Light tremor jolts Kinnaur district of Himachal
A tremor jolted the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday the Indian Meteorological Department said here today.
A tremor measured 3 on the Richter scale was experienced at the Morang area of Kinnaur district on Saturday at 1245 hrs.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at Lipsa in the Morang area at a Longitude of 31.66 Latitude of 78.37 and a depth of 5 km in the earth.
No loss of life or property was reported in the state due to the tremor.
