Light spell snow high reaches of Himachal

The Indian Meterogical Department forcast  light to moderate rain or Snowfall from Feb 21 to 24 in  Himachal Pradesh and issued yellow alert in some places of the state. 
The Met office said that western disturbances areaffecting the state from today onwards and a new WDs also become active from tomorrow onwards.
Yellow alert was issued by Met office today warning Thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places in plains or low hills and midhills on Feb 22 & 23.
Met Office forcast that many places would be lash by light to moderate rainfall or snow on Feb 22 and 23. State likely to have rain or snow at isolated places on tomorrow and few places on Feb 24.
The light spell of snow a occurred in Kinnuar, Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu district at few places of state on Sunday.
Kalpa (Kinnaur) recorded two cm Snowfall and Tourist resort Manali two mm rain today. The high reaches of Lahaul Spiti district including Rohtang pass, Kunzum pass, Jalorijot (Kullu) and Kinner Kailash had light spell of Snowfall.
District Administration Lahaul Spiti had allowing all types of vehicles on Manali- ATR- Keylong highways between  North Portal to Darcha road (NH-003) and Pangi road (SH-26) except two wheelers.
 Local people of Lahaul and Pangi and four by four vehicles of tourists could enter the valley without permission till Darcha. 
Keylong (Lahaul-Spiti) was coldest in the state with Minimum temperature at minus 8degree Celsius, Kalpa (Kinnaur) -2.2 , Kufri(Shimla) minus 0.5, Manali(Kullu) 1.6, Shimla 2.8, Dalhousie (Chamba) 2.6, Solan 3.5 Bhuntar (Kullu) 4.5, Dharmshala 7, Chamba and Mandi 5.7 eachKangra 6, Hamirpur 6.3, Bilaspur 6.4, Palampur (Kangra) 4, Una 7.5and Nahan(Sirmour) 9 degree Celsius.
