Kuldeep Rathore reached Panewali village, reviewed the relief operation

A couple and a child were killed and two others were injured when they were buried under the debris in the Kotgarh area of ​​Shimla district. The landslide incident took place in Panewali village of Gram Panchayat Madhavani of Kotgarh sub-tehsil of Theog-Kumarsain assembly constituency. After getting information about the incident, local MLA and national spokesperson of the Congress party Kuldeep Rathore reached the spot. SDM Kumarsain and other officers were present with him. Expressed deep condolence on the death of three people of the same family in the landslide incident and prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. 50 thousand rupees were issued to the affected family from the discretionary fund. At the same time, a relief amount of Rs 1 lakh has been issued by the state government. Apart from this, tarpaulin, ration, and other items were also provided to the affected families.

Please inform that a house was damaged by a landslide last night. A family of five was living in the house. Due to heavy rain, rock-containing debris fell on this house. Six people including the couple were sleeping in this house. In this, Anil’s (32) son Jaichand, Kiran’s (31) wife Anil, and Swapnil’s (11) son Anil have died due to being buried under the debris. The bodies of all three have been removed. Other family members Jaichand and his wife Bina Devi received minor injuries. He narrowly escaped the accident. This incident has created chaos in the family. All three bodies have been handed over to their families and relatives after the post-mortem.

Rathore also took stock of the damage and relief work done due to rains in the Theog assembly constituency. He directed the officials of the Public Works Department to open the closed roads immediately.
