Kisan Congress of Himachal Pradesh appointed District President

Himachal Pradesh Kisan Congress General Secretary (Organization) Purna Chand said that after the approval of All India National Kisan Congress President Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Himachal Pradesh Congress Party President Pratibha Singh, Himachal Kisan Congress State President Sohan Verma has implemented the appointment of all the District Presidents of the state with immediate effect and has expressed confidence that all the newly appointed District Presidents, in addition to their district executive, should strengthen the Kisan Congress by forming a new executive after permission from the President for the district executive, giving preference to the Congress workers active at the block level in their respective districts.
Apart from the programmes of the Kisan Congress, the public welfare programmes of the Congress state government led by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will be taken to the common people. Manta Thakur was made District Shimla President. A woman from Shimla district has been given a place in the Kisan Congress because women play a major role in farming and gardening. Among the district presidents, Bal Krishna Kapoor has been given the charge of Kangra, Rajesh Thakur of Hamirpur, Baba Inder Singh of Una, Jagdish Tomar of Sirmaur, Devendra Atri of Solan, Rishi Kishore of Kullu, Om Prakash Mandi, Ratn Singh Thakur of Bilaspur, Anil Negi of Kinnaur, Ashok Hans of Lahaul Spiti and Dr Dinesh Kumar of District Chamba.
