Junga School’s excellent performance in the district level under-19 competition
Players from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Junga, brought laurels to the school with their impressive performances at the recently concluded district-level Under-19 Boys’ Sports Competition in Sunni. The Junga school team displayed excellent football performance and defeated the GMBSSS Rohru team to win first place.
This football achievement was achieved by the players of Junga School after four years of continuous practice, hard work, and struggle. The school is filled with joy due to the players’ outstanding performance.
In the same competition, the Junga School hockey team also performed exceptionally well, winning the runner-up title. The school’s players also showcased their talent in individual events. Vaibhav Pandit took second place in the 400-meter race, while Priyansh took third place in the javelin throw.
School Principal Mahesh Sharma and the school management committee expressed their happiness over the athletes’ achievements and congratulated them. They said that this success is the result of the students’ hard work, discipline, and consistent practice. The athletes also received expert guidance from Physical Education lecturer Suman Chauhan and school employee Jitendra Kumar.
