Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has again shown the mirror to Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur. The Chief Minister said that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi can leave Gujarat and contest elections from Varanasi, then why can’t former Union Minister Anand Sharma contest from Kangra Lok Sabha seat. He is a resident of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and the entire state is his home.
Thakur Sukhwinder Singh said that it is a matter of great happiness that Anand Sharma has got the ticket from Kangra. He is a good speaker and has a good grasp and understanding of national and international issues. He is a nationally known face. Himachal will benefit if his voice is echoed in the Parliament. National Institute of Fashion Technology in Kangra, Industrial Park worth Rs 150 crore in Indora, National Tea Board’s Regional Center for tea gardeners has been opened by Anand Sharma.
The Chief Minister said that Anand is a big face of the party, he will represent the Congress ideology in Parliament. The three BJP MPs failed to get a special relief package from the central government during the biggest natural disaster in the history of the state.
