It is proposed to divide Peeran Panchayat and make Dhali a new Panchayat

The new Panchayat, Dhali, is proposed to be formed by dividing the Piran Panchayat of Mashobra Block. The Panchayati Raj Department has invited objections and claims from the people of the concerned area. According to a notification issued by the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Department, the new Panchayat, Dhali, is proposed to be formed by dividing the Piran Panchayat. The Panchayati Raj Department has proposed to include the sub-villages of Dhali, Shilli, Bagda, Chalog, Khil Ser, Anji, Dumahar, Dochi, Pali, Pajal, and Paniser, as well as the Thund Ward of the adjoining Satlai Panchayat. After the formation of the new Panchayat, Piran Panchayat will have only two revenue villages: Piran and Tri, along with other sub-villages. Similarly, in the adjoining Satlai Panchayat, all the villages except the Thund Ward will remain in the same Panchayat: Satlai Chikhar, Kataiya Majhar, Juggar, and Jungle Karoli.
According to the Additional Director Panchayati Raj, the people of the concerned area can send their objections and claims to the Deputy Commissioner Shimla within only three days from the issuance of the notification.
