Addressing a press conference, BJP Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said the Chief Minister’s clarification to the media came a little late today as he had not received the back dated notification.
He said that strange circumstances are prevailing in Himachal Pradesh. Instead of changing the system, the work of system collapse is going on. This has happened for the first time in the history of Himachal, which is unfortunate.
A notification is issued in the state, then there is a reaction to it and after that it is changed to back date, a similar notification was issued in Himachal Pradesh regarding job termination. Although the notification is of 26 October, but this notification was made on 23 October.
Jairam Thakur said that the government of Paltu Ram is running in Himachal Pradesh every moment. There is a constant effort to fix the notifications by whitewashing them. He said that when the elections came, the Congress party was propagating false guarantees, their leaders had said that 5 lakh jobs will be created in Himachal Pradesh, one lakh jobs in 1 year and 65000 vacant posts will be filled. But the tenure of 2 years is over, this government has not given a single job to the youth as per the correct data. This government is a government with zero performance, the work is going on contrary to the promises made by the Congress government.
The surprising thing is that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister tell the media that they have read the entire thing before coming, it seems that only two people in Himachal Pradesh are the repository of knowledge and no other intellectual in Himachal Pradesh can understand these notifications and the opposition cannot understand them at all. We want to say clearly that both of you are not the repository of knowledge, I have interrupted the Chief Minister several times in the Assembly regarding this. We would request that Chief Minister ji, you should not give the knowledge of reading after coming. He said that it seems that there is a ruckus of officers in Himachal Pradesh, that is why clarification has to be given for everything again and again.
The notification regarding job termination will have a wide impact in Himachal Pradesh, according to this, 1.50 lakh jobs have been terminated in Himachal Pradesh, you had come to provide 2 lakh jobs in 2 years but you terminated 1.50 lakh jobs, now you are trying to mislead the public by mere manipulation of words.
He said that in the notification issued during the BJP government of former Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal, there was no mention of abolishing any post, on the contrary, there was talk of regularizing the posts. It talked about promoting jobs and also about making the jobs permanent.
In this Sukh ki Sarkar, the youth have lost their hope and now there seems to be no possibility of jobs in Himachal Pradesh in the coming times. If you have made a mistake, then Chief Minister, do not blame others for it. You should learn to speak the truth, in your government work does not happen without mistakes. It would have been better if you had abolished the cabinet rank posts.
This government has become a government of notifications. Toilet tax has not been withdrawn yet but many notifications have been issued regarding it. There are many notifications regarding HTC luggage tax as well.
