IIM Sirmaur signs an MoU with emlyon business school, Lyon, France

In a significant step towards global academic excellence, the
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur has entered into a partnership with emlyon
business school, Lyon, France. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two
institutes has been signed to promote student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives,
Management Development Programs (MDPs), and other collaborative academic ventures.
This partnership is the latest in a series of strategic collaborations by IIM Sirmaur to foster
international academic relations.
The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Isabelle Huault, President and Dean of emlyon
business school, and Professor Prafulla Agnihotri, Director of IIM Sirmaur. Professor
Agnihotri, Director, IIM Sirmaur, remarked,” This joining hands by two great institutes,
namely emlyon business school and IIM Sirmaur, will open a new chapter in the Indian
education sector. The two institutes shall offer very high-end joint MDPs in niche areas, work
on consulting projects together, write case studies, and shall have faculty and student
exchange programmes.”
Known for its innovative curriculum and intense focus on entrepreneurship, emlyon business
school has a rich history spanning over 150 years. It now operates across four campuses
around the world, Lyon, Paris, Shanghai and Mumbai. IIM Sirmaur, established in 2015, has
rapidly established itself as one of India’s premier management institutes. The collaboration
will create a globally connected learning ecosystem, bringing international perspectives and
cross-cultural insights to our classes and management development programmes.
This collaboration is expected to create pathways for impactful research, skill development,
and leadership training, aligning with the global standards of management education.
