If I get blessings, I will follow my father’s footsteps and serve people : Vinod Sultanpuri

 If I get the blessings of the people, I will follow the footsteps of my father, former MP Late KD Sultanpuri and serve the people of the state. Shimla parliamentary constituency candidate Vinod Sultanpuri said this while addressing a public meeting in Peeran during his election campaign. He said that if I win, I will not sit at home and fight for 17 assembly constituencies of Shimla parliamentary constituency. I will continue to visit Himachal Pradesh and raise voice for solving people’s problems from Parliament to Himachal Assembly. He said that while commenting on Suresh Kashyap, MP from Shimla parliamentary seat, he said that he had raised questions only twice in the Parliament in the last five years, which is a big blow to the people of the state.
On this occasion, State Rural Development Minister and Kasupanti MLA Anirudh Singh said that Congress does what it speaks. He said that more than Rs 33 lakh has been released for the development of Peeran Panchayat during the last one year. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 34 lakh has been approved for the construction of Panchayat building. He said that NOC has been received for the road from Piran to Batola, now funds will be provisioned to make this road concrete. He said that all the link roads of Peeran Panchayat will be constructed in a phased manner. He urged people to vote in favor of Congress candidate Vinod Sultanpuri.
On this occasion, Kusampanti BJP leader and Peeran Panchayat head Kiran Sharma in her address praised the work of the Rural Development Minister. Earlier, Kasupanti Congress Mandal President Ram Krishna Shandil and former Mandal President Atar Singh Thakur also expressed their views. Atar Singh Thakur said that in the last Lok Sabha elections, when Modi wave was going on in the entire country and state, the Congress Party had got lead from Peeran Panchayat.
On this occasion, former head Dayaram Verma, Kamlesh Thakur, Deputy Head Sandeep Mehta, social worker Daulat Ram Mehta, village organization head Bimla Verma, Mahila Mandal head Anita Mehta, Hansram Verma, Chunnilal Thakur, Ramesh Thakur, Premdas Sharma, Jabar Singh were present. Thakur, Prakash Verma, Suresh Sharma, Ram Gopal Mehta, Kishore Mehta, Surendra Sodi, Ramanand Sharma, Jagdish Sharma and other Congress officials were present.
Apart from this, during the election campaign, Cabinet Ministers Anirudh Singh and Vinod Sultanpuri also held street meetings in Koti, Darbhog, Thund, Satlai, Juggar, Satog, Dharech.
