If BJP is fond of forming government with money and power then elections should be stopped: Naresh Chauhan

Congress has geared up for the last phase of Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh. Congress has fielded candidates on all four Lok Sabha seats of the state who will win with an overwhelming majority. State Congress Vice President Naresh Chauhan said this during a press conference in Shimla.
During this, he attacked the BJP and said that it has been in power at the Center under the leadership of PM Modi for the last 10 years, but the elections are not being fought on the 10-year report card but in the name of Hindu-Muslim and Mangalsutra. He said that today when the time has come to give the report card of the promises made to the people of the country, the politics of polarization is being practiced once again. He said that today the promises made 10 years ago about providing jobs to 2 crore youth every year, doubling the income of farmers, and providing security to women, but today issues have become secondary, the BJP is only concerned with religion and caste. Wants to gain power in the name of Paati. He said that where the BJP government is not formed, power is achieved through money power and horse-trading. If the BJP is fond of staying in power through horse trading and money power then they can get the elections stopped. But all this cannot happen in a democracy.
Naresh Chauhan said that the Congress Party has geared up for the Lok Sabha elections and Assembly by-elections to be held in the state. CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has already visited the entire state for election preparations and to fill the enthusiasm among the workers. He said that the Congress party has announced three candidates for the assembly by-elections and the remaining three will also be announced soon.
He said that inflation has broken the back of the country and those who have money in the country have become billionaires. But on the other hand, 80 crore people of the country are limited to five kilos of flour and rice. He asked BJP leaders whether this is a development. Aiming PM Modi, he said that your friend has become the richest man in the world in five years. People had money in banks which they gave to their friends after selling the country’s property and handing it over to their friends.
Naresh Chauhan slammed former Chief Minister of the state Jairam Thakur and BJP President Rajeev Bindal on their statements and said that they too will have to answer all the questions about the scams committed during their tenure. He said that the state’s debt of more than Rs 70 thousand crore and liabilities of more than Rs 12 thousand crore were inherited by the Congress government of the state. He said that people remember the corruption done by BJP leaders during Covid. He asked what were the reasons why Rajiv Bindal had to step down from the post of president at that time.
Chauhan said that today people will have to answer to the way BJP made an unsuccessful attempt to destabilize the Congress government with full majority in the state through money power. He said that the Congress government in the state had full majority earlier also and after the election results are declared on June 4, the Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government will be even stronger.
Naresh Chauhan has said that the party has declared all its candidates for the four Lok Sabha seats of the state. He said that in Kangra, Congress has fielded its national leader, former Union Minister Anand Sharma. He said that there is full enthusiasm among the party workers. Anand Sharma will hoist the flag of his victory in Kangra. He said that Anand Sharma is a great leader of the party and his contesting elections from the Kangra parliamentary constituency is a matter of great joy for the state Congress. He said that elections are fought not by candidates but by common workers, hence every Congress worker will fight with full strength in the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections and win the elections.
