Ice skating rink Shimla holds Gymkhana Carnival after a gap of 6 years

This morning, the club hosted its Annual Gymkhana, featuring a variety of competitions such as children’s races, figure skating, and a Marshal Tito hockey match for different age groups. In the evening, the Annual Carnival is set to take place at the skating rink, with the state’s Sports Minister expected to participate. Rajat mentioned that both men’s and women’s segments were involved in the morning competitions, catering to various age categories. Later today, the highlight of the carnival will be the Torchbearer Skating event, featuring participants gliding on skates with the torch, and Himachal Pradesh Sports Minister Yadavindra Goma is slated to attend the festivities.

It gives us great pleasure to announce the upcoming Annual Gymkhana of the club scheduled for tomorrow morning, January 16, 2024, starting from 8:00 am. The event will feature a range of activities, including races across various categories, free and fancy skating, jumps over baskets, and a Marshal Tito hockey match.

Following the morning session, we invite you to join us for the Annual Carnival in the evening, commencing at 6:30 pm. The evening festivities will include exciting events such as Fancy Dress, an Exhibition Hockey Match, Exhibitional Free and Fancy Skating, the Giant Wheel, Chain Tag, Torch Light Tattoo, and a Prize Distribution ceremony.

This event marks a return after a gap of six years, and we earnestly request all our members to attend and honor the occasion with their presence.
