HRTC employees to observe mass leave on Oct 18

On the call  given by Himachal Transport Employees Joint Coordination Committee, all employees of Himachal Pradesh transport Corporation would observed one day mass leave tomorrow .
Khemendra Gupta, Secretary, Transport Employees Joint Coordination Committee said in a press release under the aegis of Joint action committee on Oct 18, 2021, the employees of the corporation would boycott their work holding Kam Chhodo Andolon ( Quit Work Movement ) for a day.
Currently JOC have given the call of daily gate meeting in every unit. Since September 14 HRTC are Protesting against non-implementation  of agreements made in the year 2016 regarding release of pending financial payments of about Rs 500 crore to the employees. 
The accumulated dues are pending in the form of 13 pc Interim Relief (IR)  from Jan 2016, four p c IR from Jan 2019, five p c IR  from July 2016 and six p c IR from July 2021, total Dearness Allowance ( DA ) 15 per cent ,  32 months night over time, pension, gratuity commutation, leave encashment, GPF, medical reimbursement, many types of arrears etc., he added.
“Employee are feeling cheated as  payment of financial dues of employees are mounting day by day.” he alleged.
In addition to the financial demands, Protesters are seeking  action against those officials who are involved in corruption, To bringing employees serving on Peace Meal basis under  lump sum contract, restoring the initial pay scale of Rs 9880/- as before, giving the initial pay scale to the operators and the benefit of the ACP scheme, in the corporation.
 Immediate filling of the vacant posts, closure of buses running on Wet  lease, provision for pension in the budget of the state government, restoration of old pension scheme, nationalization of passenger transport, complete ban on granting private route permit.
Employees are demanding to stopping harassment of protesting employees, withdrawing all action taken against them,  negotiations on the demand letter of the committee given on 05-08-2021.
They alleged that many problems are pending to be resolved but the corporation management is not taking any action. 
The protest like to affect as many as 2100 routes as HRTC are playing more than 2000 daily services in the state and interstate route.
