Himanshu will do PhD in Architecture and Planning at IIT Roorkee

Himanshu Chauhan has fulfilled his father’s dream of his daughter Anmol on the strength of his ability and hard work. It is worth noting that Himanshu Chauhan has been selected for the country’s prestigious Institute of Architecture and Planning, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee to do PhD in Architecture and Planning. This is the first daughter from Himachal Pradesh to do PhD in Architecture and Planning at IIT Roorkee. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the entire area on this success of the daughter and Himanshu’s parents are getting congratulations on the phone. Earlier, after passing the national level GATE examination, Himanshu has obtained a master’s degree in Urban Design from India’s top architecture and planning institute, School of Planning and Architecture Delhi (SPA Delhi).
Himanshu received his primary education from Shankar Vidya Niketan Rajgarh till class 5. Thereafter, he was selected for Navodaya Vidyalaya Nahan where Himanshu passed 12th class non-medical. In the year 2018, he passed the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) examination and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in first class from Government Gandhi Government Engineering College, Nagarota Kangra. For which Himanshu was honored with a gold medal by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at the state’s technical university (NIT) Hamirpur.
Let us tell you that Himanshu basically belongs to the remote village Kudia Kadang of Rajgarh. Her father Prem Chand Chauhan is working as Headmaster in Government High School Doon Deoria and mother Sarla Chauhan is working as CHT in Kendriya Prathmik Pathshaala Pabiana. Apart from this, they have two more daughters Himani Chauhan and Kriti Chauhan. Let us tell you that Himanshu and Himani are twin daughters, of whom Himanshi is the eldest daughter. Younger sister Himani has done Master’s degree in Zoology from Khalsa College Chandigarh. While the youngest daughter Kriti Chauhan is doing Master’s degree in Mathematics from Delhi University.
Himanshu has given the credit of his success to his parents and teachers. His father Premchand Chauhan said that his three daughters are priceless gems. He feels proud of their abilities. Himanshu’s parents are feeling proud of this achievement.
