Himachal interest has been compromised by State Govt: Nadda
Congress’ Sukhu government in Himachal Pradesh has become a symbol of corruption, scams and mismanagement. The scams and black deeds of the Congress government have reached such a low level that even the heritage of Himachal Pradesh has to be confiscated. The Himachal Pradesh High Court has had to order the confiscation of Himachal Pradesh’s pride Himachal Bhawan located in Mandi House, Delhi because the Congress government of Himachal did not pay the outstanding amount of Rs 64 crore to Seli Hydro Electric Power Company Limited. Not only this, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has also had to order the closure of 18 heritage hotels of the state coming under Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC). This is the side effect of the economic mismanagement and scams of the Congress government of Himachal. There cannot be any more shameful incident than this in the history of Himachal Pradesh.
The Congress government of Himachal Pradesh had to deposit the money of Seli Hydro Electric Power Company Limited in the High Court, but the compound interest increased to hundreds of crores of rupees. Was the Sukhu government of Congress blindfolded? Was it unable to see anything? If the Congress government had deposited even a part of this amount within 2 years, then today the financial condition of Himachal Pradesh would not have been so bad and the order for attachment of Himachal Bhawan would not have been issued. This is a time of great sorrow, pain and shame for every resident of Himachal Pradesh. The list of scams of the Sukhu government has become so long that it has failed to take care of the heritage of the state, due to which orders have been issued to close 18 hotels including Chail Hotel and Manali’s historic hotel. In fact, it seems that the Congress government wants to distribute these hotels among its favourites. It is suspected that the Sukhu government of Congress will lease out 18 hotels of HPTDC to its friends. All these are such premium and prime hotels that they earn 2 to 3 lakh rupees a year from their entry tickets alone. If HPTDC will give up such an important and big property, then how will those friends of Congress, who could not be given a place in the cabinet and the honour of the post of chairman, be made happy by leasing them this property.
The Sukhu government of Congress is paying crores of rupees to lawyers in the High Court and Supreme Court for the cases going on against it but it has turned a blind eye towards saving the heritage of the state. In fact, the intention of Congress is not to save the heritage of Himachal Pradesh but to loot it. Congress wants to make Himachal Pradesh an ATM of the corruption of the Congress family. The friends of the Himachal Pradesh government, who are also working in the High Court, do not have time to look into the matters of Himachal Pradesh’s interests; instead, they are trying to save their dear friend CPS in the High Court and Supreme Court.
All 18 hotels of HPTDC are the heritage of Himachal Pradesh and are the crown of the state. If we talk about occupancy, then 40% is not less, besides, there are restaurants and other sources of income. Then why did these 18 heritages of Himachal Pradesh go into loss? It is clear that the corrupt and careless government of Congress did not manage it well. Those who used to talk about making Himachal Pradesh the tourism capital of India and said that tourism is going well in Himachal, lakhs of people from outside are coming to visit, then why did Himachal Pradesh face such a shameful situation? What will happen to the state government employees working at these places? Did the Congress government of Himachal prepare a master plan to save these heritages – no because their focus is on doing corruption, saving their chair.
Corruption is at its peak in Himachal Pradesh. Everywhere, there is a smell of loot, anarchy and scams. It is the result of the wrong policies of the Sukhu government of Congress that Himachal Pradesh has to see these bad days in its history. The people of Himachal Pradesh will never forgive the Congress for this. The holy land of Himachal Pradesh, which was known for its beauty and tourism, has drowned in debt due to the false guarantees and corrupt policies of the Congress. Due to the misrule of the Congress government, today the heritage of Himachal Pradesh has also come to the point of attachment. The Sukhu government of Congress has no right to stay in power even for a minute.
