Himachal Chief Minister extends best wishes on birthday of Shanta Kumar
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today extended his best wishes to former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar on his birthday.The Chief Minister prayed to God for long and healthy life of Shanta Kumar. Mr Kumar is 3rd Chief Minister of Himachal born on Sep 12 ,1934 in Kangra district .87 yrs old Mr Kumar is known for this integrity in the public life.
An Autobiography written by Mr Kumar criticized the Modi government for toppling the number of non BJP Governments and criticizing the means used to create factions in the political parties terming it against the ideology of Jansangh. Mr Kumar just before his birthday celebration made a statement in a press conference on Saturday demanding that those involved in the ruling parties of state involved in the fake degree scams should be arrested as many of them were not brought to book .
Former chief minister said that to protect those who are involved in the fake degrees scams that lasted from 2008-9 to 2018-19, CBI is moving ahead with snail pace.
