Health check-up of 107 disabled and 204 normal patients in the camp : Dr. Manoj

Courtesy of the Department of Health Services and Social Justice and Empowerment, a free disability assessment and medical camp was organized at Civil Hospital Junga. In which the health of a total of 107 disabled and 204 normal patients was examined. This information was given by Dr. Manoj Verma, medical in-charge of Civil Hospital Junga.
He said that in this special camp, eight specialist doctors from IGMC and other hospitals provided their services. In this special camp, 107 disabled persons were examined by the Medical Board, out of which only 25 disabled persons were found eligible and disability certificates were issued by the Medical Board.
Apart from this, the health of 204 patients was examined in the general OD. Whose free diagnostic tests and medicines were provided. On this occasion, Dr. Manoj Verma gave information about the symptoms and prevention of tuberculosis to the people who came to the camp. He told that if there is cough for more than two weeks, weight loss and blood in the sputum, then in this situation you must go to your nearest hospital and get checked.
Junga Panchayat head Bansi Lal Kashyap expressed gratitude to Block Medical Officer Mashobra and District Welfare Officer Shimla for organizing this camp. He was requested to organize such camps in future also. On this occasion, Junga Panchayat distributed refreshments and fruits to all the patients and their families who came to the camp.
In the camp, BMO Mashobra Dr. Rakesh Pratap, Tehsil Welfare Officer Rural Shimla Satish Sharma, besides pediatrician Dr. Akanksha Nadda, ENT specialist Dr. Diksha, ophthalmologist Dr. Poonam, orthopedic specialist Dr. Ravi Thakur, medicine specialist Dr. Shreya Sharma, psychiatrist Dr. Devika Chauhan, psychologist Dr. Deep Rathore and ophthalmology officer Vikas Gupta provided their services in the camp.
