Mangaled Ravine witnessed celebrations as the road reached its destination
The people of Devthi of Peeran Panchayat at the end of Mashobra Block have set a unique example in the entire region by starting the exercise of connecting Trahai village to Noha, Dublu of Balog Panchayat with road facility after about seven decades. A program was organized at Magled Khad on completion of the construction of about two kilometers road from Trahai village to the border of Magled Khad, i.e. Balog Panchayat. Pritam Thakur said that after the construction of this road, the distance of many villages including Noha and Dublu to Trahai will be reduced to about five to six kilometers. Whereas to go to Noha and Dublu, one had to travel about 45 kilometers via Chhalanda.
Pritam Thakur said that the matter has been raised with Balog Panchayat to provide road facility from Magled Khadd to Noha. He has expressed his gratitude to the people of Devthi village for constructing this road. He has made serious allegations against Peeran Panchayat and said that during the tenure of the previous BJP government, an amount of two lakhs was sanctioned for the construction of this road but the Panchayat used the money meant for this road for some other work. Due to which people in the entire Trahai village are angry with the Panchayat.
Ramanand Sharma, Jagdish Sharma, Ramratan Sharma and others from Devthi said that due to differences and lack of coordination among the people of Trahai village regarding this road, the construction of this road was pending for the last seven decades. They took up the task of constructing this road on their own level. They allege that the amount of two lakhs sanctioned by the government should not have been spent on any other work. They say that if the government does not give the money, they will pay the labor of the JCB machine by mutual contribution. Let us tell you that people will get a lot of benefit from the construction of this road. Ramanand Sharma says that the people of Trahai Peeran have relatives in Balog Panchayat and for decades people have been coming and going on foot due to the absence of a road.
On this occasion, apart from the elderly former headman Balak Ram Nirmohi, former headman Atar Singh Thakur, Ramanand Sharma, Nekram Sharma, Jagdish Sharma, Ramratna Sharma, BDC member Ramesh Sharma, ward member Virendra Thakur, Pritam Thakur, Vikram Thakur and a large number of local people were present from Devthi.
