Four players from Mashobra School brought glory to Himachal Pradesh in the National Rugby Championship
Four players of Government Model Senior Secondary School Mashobra, who were part of Himachal Pradesh’s team in the recently held National Rugby Sports Competition in Hyderabad, brought laurels to the school and the state by their excellent performance.
Aryan Kawar led the Himachal Pradesh Rugby team as vice-captain in the competition. Payal Verma in the girls’ category and Aditya Verma and Dhairya Chauhan in the boys’ category brought glory to their schools with excellent performances.
Upon returning from the national competition, the athletes were given a warm welcome on the school campus. The school administration also honored all the players on this occasion. Principal Banwari Lal Keshav, DPE Mohanlal Sharma, and PET Nandlal Sharma congratulated the athletes and said that success in sports is achieved only through discipline, hard work, and dedication. They encouraged the students to participate in national-level competitions in the future and pursue careers in sports.
PET Nandlal Sharma expressed special gratitude to Himachal Pradesh Rugby Association President Dr. Vikas Sood, General Secretary Vishal Sarin, Treasurer Sudhir Rajput, and the team coaches. He said that it is only through the support of the association and coaches that the state’s players are getting the opportunity to reach the national level.
The school family expressed happiness over the achievement of the players and wished them a bright future.
