Ensuring Safety and Smooth Proceedings at Himachal Pradesh’s Budget Session
As the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly gears up for its upcoming budget session, tight security measures are being put in place to ensure everything runs smoothly. Around 1,000 security personnel will be deployed, with drone cameras monitoring the premises and security forces on high alert.
In a high-level meeting chaired by Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, officials discussed the preparations. The focus is on ensuring the safety of all members, staff, media personnel, and visitors while minimizing inconvenience.
With the transition to the National e-Vidhan (NeVA) system still in process, all entry passes will be issued manually. Strict measures will prevent unauthorized access, and all vehicles must display parking stickers issued by the Secretariat.
Mobile phones and similar devices will not be allowed inside the House, and photography and videography are prohibited. An ambulance with modern medical facilities will be on standby throughout the session.
Speaker Pathania emphasized the importance of coordination between police and CID teams to ensure the session proceeds without any disruptions.
