During the Jairam government, 6,28,682 families were registered under the Himcare scheme : BJP

BJP state spokesperson Sandipani Bhardwaj, while responding to the comment made by Congress minister Aniruddh Singh, said that Congress ministers themselves have become U-turn ministers. After taking an aggressive stand on a sensitive issue, the minister had changed his statement under pressure from central leaders, it is possible that his comment on Jairam ji was also under someone’s pressure. Congress ministers should not give advice, they should learn from Jairam.

He said that the Leader of Opposition is a senior leader of the BJP and under the able leadership of Jairam Thakur, the BJP and the Legislative Party are pushing the Congress on the backfoot.

Jairam Thakur started many public welfare schemes during his tenure which were stopped by the current Congress government.

During the Jairam government, 6,28,682 families were registered under the Himcare scheme and 3.22 lakh people were provided free treatment at a cost of Rs.302.26 crore. Everyone knows what the present government has done. Free coverage of up to Rs.5 lakh to a total of 4,32,542 families from the weaker income group under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Monthly financial assistance of Rs.3000 to attendants of seriously ill persons under the Chief Minister’s Sahara scheme. Rs.80 crore was spent on 20,000 beneficiaries. Rs.10.46 crore was spent by the government on the treatment of 953 poor people suffering from seriously ill diseases from the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Fund.

He said that the entire state is facing financial mismanagement, the Chief Minister and his ministers are not doing anything about it. They are just harassing the people of the state in the name of money and mismanagement, the government should name any such scheme which has provided relief to the people.

He said that the advice given to Vikramaditya to follow the party line has come from Delhi. Himachal Pradesh’s Public Works Minister and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh, who ordered the street vendors to install nameplates on the lines of Uttar Pradesh, has been reprimanded by the Congress high command. The Congress high command has called him to Delhi and advised him not to deviate from the party’s policies and ideology. Now tell me whether the Congress leaders are not working under the pressure of Congress leaders or not?
