Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Day celebrated in Rajgarh School

PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Rajgarh celebrated International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The program was organized by the school’s Youth and Eco Club, National Avishkar Abhiyan and NCC unit. On this occasion, various competitions were organized in the school, in which Dheeraj got first place in the painting competition, Aarushi and Nivedita got second place and Vishal got third place. Achyut got first place in the speech competition, Anshika got second place and Archita got third place. In the poster making competition, Aditi Bhardwaj got first place, Mehak got second place and Anshika and Aanchal got third place. Apart from this, on this occasion, the children were made to take a pledge to quit drugs under the Drug Free India Campaign.
School Principal and Club Incharge Praveen Sharma gave detailed information to the children about the dangers of drug abuse and about drug prevention and treatment and drug trafficking. He told that due to drug use, many types of diseases like heart disease, cancer, lungs and mental diseases can occur. If people and children are not made aware about drugs in time, then slowly our young generation will be destroyed due to this drug. He said that we have to make our children aware of other healthy options like sports, music, art and other creative activities.
