DGP Kundu posted as Principal Secretary Ayush

Himachal Pradesh Government today posted Director General of Himachal Pradesh Police Sanjay Kundu as Principal Secretary Ayush after the December 26 order of the Himachal Pradesh High Court to move him from his incumbent post.

In a notification issued here today, the chief secretary Prabodh Saxena said that the decision to post DGP was also taken on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board.

The notification said that Sanjay Kundu, IPS (HP:1989), whose services have been placed at the disposal of the Department of Personnel, was posted as Principal Secretary (Ayush) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, relieving Dr.Amandeep Garg, IAS (HP:1999) of this additional charge, with immediate effect.
