Delhi wrestler Rohit won the big and Maryog’s Bir Singh won the small bout

A huge wrestling competition was organized on the last day of Baisakhi fair held in Rajgarh. Thousands of people from far flung areas enjoyed it to the fullest. Wrestlers from Himachal as well as Punjab, Haryana, Delhi participated in the wrestling competition and many thrilling matches were played. The final match of the wrestling competition was played between Rohit wrestler CISF Delhi and Rohit wrestler of Yamunanagar Police. In this thrilling match, Rohit of Delhi won the Badi Mali in which the winner was awarded 27 thousand and the runner-up was awarded 24 thousand. The Choti Mali was won by Veer Singh wrestler Maryog Sirmaur. Veer Singh defeated wrestler Sunil of Hanuman Akhara Delhi. The winner of Choti Mali was awarded 11 thousand and the runner-up was awarded 10 thousand cash prize. Apart from these, girls also tried their hand in wrestling. Priya Thakur of Rajgarh defeated Nitika Thakur Jagjit Nagar Haryana. Similarly, in the final match of the under 19 age group, Shivang of Maryog defeated Prince of Maryog. DSP Rajgarh VC Negi, in-charge of the Dangal, said that a total amount of Rs. 2 lakh 20 thousand was spent on organizing the Dangal. Randeep Thakur, Suresh Sharma, Ramesh Thakur and Ramlal Sharma played the role of referees in the Dangal event.
