Defacing  walls & landscape to be charge from candidates 

Giving a month long difference between Voting and Counting it seems that Election machinery is going through virtual hibernation. It was rarely found active in certain pockets to deny such myth as some time politician who wants their large than life Hoarding still hanging  and bills posted on public walls and landscape are being cautioned. There are reports from Nahan that even after passing 20 days since the voting for the Vidhan sabha elections, huge hoardings of BJP-Congress candidates and party flags still put up on the roadside.  As per the guidelines of the Election Commission, the district administration has given orders to remove the seats till the stipulated time.  But the candidates of the politicians have not yet removed the big hoardings and flags etc.  Now, taking direct action after the due date, the district administration would get the hoardings and other material removed by itself and all its expenses will be added to the candidate’s account.  It is worth mentioning that even after 20 days of voting in other assembly constituencies of the district including the district headquarters, big hoardings of the candidates and other propaganda materials are visible on the roads, streets and government non-government buildings. State assembly counting and Result is scheduled to be declared on December 8. State went to poll for 14 state legislative assembly on November 12. The EVMs are sealed in strong rooms till December 8 amid three tier security by the Central Paramilitary Forces, State police and home guards jawan who are deployed in all 68 Assembly Constituency mainly in district and block headquarter. ECI conducted exercise of counting staffs after deploying them on the counting duty.
