Day ahead of PM Rally Hundreds of HRTC route affect in Himachal

Government in Himachal Pradesh cancelled hundreds of HRTC services on Tuesday to provide buses for Prime minister rally at Bilaspur causing rentless trouble to passengers. Most of services of HRTC route for Shimla Gramin and Solan district suspended by Regional Manager Shimla causing hardship to thousands of comuters day ahead of public holiday. Only two bus service run after 5 pm between Shimla to Kunihar in 40 km long route. Students and women have travel standing for many kilometres in over crowded Buses. Among routes where services of HRTC cancelled including Shimla-Chanog, Shimla -Satdol, Shimla-Dawanti, Shimla-Neri, Shimla -Bashog, Shimla-Mashdu, Shimla to Kunihar via Bangar, Shimla-Patabarouri. Number of routes on Shimla-Shogi and others route remained suspended. Local people said that it is irresponsible action of Goverment to deploy services from routine route. Passengers are agitated over suspension of HRTC services without prior notice by HRTC management. Milkman, business man and private workers have to face trouble due to sudden change in route for PM rally. Around 90 buses mostly HRTC have deployed to rally. When UNI inquired about status of Schedule route for Shimla Gramin HRTC officers said that all have been cancelled for PM rally and only couple of service being remained on the routes.There are reports that 120 HRTC buses wad deployed in Hamirpur to carry 20,000 People to PM rally. PM rally is scheduled at Lahunu stadium in Bilaspur tomorrow after public dedication of AIIMS hospital.
