DAV Rajgarh cadets performed brilliantly in the NCC camp, three won first place
NCC cadets from DAV Centenary Public School, Rajgarh, have made the school proud by performing exceptionally well at the ATC-232 NCC Camp. Twenty-six cadets from the school enthusiastically participated in the ten-day camp held at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni (Solan), from July 5 to 14, 2026.
During the camp, cadets received intensive training in discipline, leadership skills, physical fitness, drill, firing, and teamwork. The training further strengthened their self-confidence, perseverance, leadership skills, and patriotism.
Three cadets from DAV Rajgarh performed brilliantly and secured first place in the competitions. Cadet Arun Sharma took first place in the drill competition, while Cadet Diya Thakur (JW) also took first place in the drill competition. Cadet Sugandha also brought honor to the school by winning first place in the firing competition.
The school management attributed these achievements to the hard work, discipline, and dedication of the cadets. They also expressed special appreciation for the able guidance, constant motivation, and excellent training of Vinod, the school’s Associate NCC Officer (ANO), under whose supervision the cadets achieved this success.
The school principal congratulated all the participating cadets and wished them a bright future. He stated that NCC is not only a means of military training, but also a powerful platform for developing discipline, leadership, a spirit of service, and patriotism in youth. He also thanked the parents for their continued support and encouragement of their children.
