Daulatpur Chawk Una students suffering due to shortage of staff

Deputy Commissioner Una has issued a letter to the Deputy Director Elementary Education Department district Una (H.P.) on the complaint of a parent that due to the shortage of staff in the state-run schools of Dolbha Road of Daulatpur Chawk Una in Himachal students are suffering without being provided proper education.

A copy of the letter shared by the complaint to us states that they have the right to education however department is not providing proper education to their children and strict action should be taken against the irresponsible officials concerned for ruining the future of the children. The letter was addressed to the concerned department official on April 27, 2023, by the AC to DC  Una on the complaint of the mother of a student Achyut Kaushal, Mrs. Sunita Devi of Daulatpur Chawk  Una (H.P.).

In the complaint, parents maintained that they could not able to provide good education to their wards until the sufficient staff is not provided in the school. The complaint alleged that sufficient teachers were not to be deputed in the schools due to a shortage of children. The complaint alleged that they pay fees to schools and the government in return should spend the same for providing quality education to their children. The Administration urged the official to take appropriate action in this matter. 

The complainant has written several petitions regarding the shortage of teachers and the lack of good education to the President of India, Daropdi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor of Himachal Mr Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu, Education Minister Rohit Thakur, and Local MLA Chetnya Sharma also. 

During the recent budget session of the state assembly number of ruling and opposition MLAs also highlighted this issue of shortage of teachers in state-owned schools expressing concern over the declining standard of education in the state-run schools drastically. It is worthwhile to mention that in the elementary education Himachal was once considered number two after Kerala now it is suddenly falling back.
