Dadgi School’s meritorious students were honoured; Sneha was declared the best student of the year
The annual prize distribution ceremony of Government Senior Secondary School, Dadgi was celebrated with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, Sneha, a student of class 12, was awarded the title of Best Student of the Year. Retired District and Sessions Judge Basant Verma attended the program as the chief guest. The chief guest rewarded the students who achieved excellent positions in academic, cultural, sports and other activities. He also donated Rs 21,000 from his discretionary amount for the developmental activities of the school.
School Principal Rajendra Kumar Verma welcomed the chief guest and presented the school’s annual report. During the ceremony, the school children enthralled the audience with a cultural program. Mannat Kanwar and Riya Thakur’s dance moves to patriotic songs captivated everyone.
Retired history lecturer Hemant Kanwar, Superintendent of the Himachal Pradesh Education Directorate Hem Prakash Bhardwaj, well-known social worker of the area Parul Sharma, SMS head Santosh Kumar, Besardat Sharma, Guru Ram, BDC member Madhu, storyteller Sahil Sharma, Headmistress of Government High School Mandri Anjana Sharma and all the teachers and non-teachers of the school were present on this occasion. The stage was conducted by Hindi lecturer Vijay Pant, Tilak Ranaut, Dharam Prakash Verma and Vikramjeet.
