CSIR-IHBT organized Ayurveda Day at Palmpur

Ayurveda Day was organized at IHBT Palampur. The Chief Guest was Dr. Rajesh Sandh, Assistant Director, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Mandi. This year the tagline of Ayurveda Day was “Ayurveda for everyone every day” and The Chief Guest of the function delivered his speech on the topic ‘Ayurveda for Holistic Health’. In the address, he explained in detail about the usefulness of Ayurveda in daily life. He discussed the importance of Ayurveda in seasonal and daily habits and changing lifestyles giving examples. In his speech, Kapha, Pitta, and Vata nature information related to treatment and diet was also provided.
Earlier, Dr. Sudesh Kumar Yadav, Director of the Institute, in his welcome address said that Ayurveda is a part of our culture and through it, India has shown a new path to the world. He discussed the traditional knowledge taking place in the institute. He also mentioned the steps being taken towards research and standardization of Ayurveda. His speech inspired all the people present to adopt Ayurveda in their lives in the audience. Students of Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College, Paprola, Himachal Pradesh specifically recorded their participation.
