CPI(M) condemns the fatal assault on party senior leader

State unit of CPI (M) condemned the fatal attack on the party senior leader Dr Kashmir Singh Thakur and demanded security to him after second such attempt on his life.
A press statement issued by the party state secretary Dr Onkar Shad said that he had urged the director general of police Sanjay Kundu to provide security cover to Thakur.
Party state unit convened a meeting to condemned the assault here today. Dr Kashmir Thakur have lodged FIR and aprised Superintendent of Police Hamirpur himself after the incident.
FIR mentioned that Anil Mankotia belonged to Anukalana village of Hamirpur on the morning of Jul 30 tried to run over him under a car. 
Dr Shad said that Mankotia was expelled from the party for anti-party activities after that he was indulged in such attempts as he also tried to him with his car on Jun 29.
