Covid situation alarming HP, most patients confined to home-isolation : CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said today that Covid situationis alarming in the state as large number of new cases are coming across the state however enough bedsare available in the state hospitals as most of new patients are confined to home isolation with low gradefever.
After attending the State Executive Committee meeting to review the Covid situation Mr Thakur addressed the media persons showing concern over the alarming increase of cases as 1800 casesalone registered on Wednesday.
He said that more and more people are contracting to the corona virus and situation is becoming bad to worst. He said that most of cases are having mild symptoms and severity of cases are notso high and people are having home isolation and having treatment of low grade fever in their homes.
He said that there are enouhg ICUs and Oxygenated beds in the state Hospitals however governmentwould provide all support to affected people who are suffering with the Covid infections. He said that onlyefforts from the state government is providing vaccination to most of people and which is preventing theinfections among the people.
He said that people are having mild infections owing to vaccination which is reduce the burden onthe state hospital. It is a matter of satisfaction that people are not having acute infections and theyare staying in their homes by treating them for light fever which lasts three to four days.
He said that most of people who are contracting to Covid infections are having fever for three days and onlybest treatment of patients could be possible in their homes however stage Government would provideevery possible relief for the affected people if they required emergency hospitalisation.
He said that state Government would provide all kind of relief to effective poeple if they would be much \trouble.
The Prime Minister Narender Modi is scheduled to interacted with him through video conference on Thursdayand the state would make further preparations on the outcome of meeting also.
