Congress’s concern about border security and army is just politics: Brigadier Khushal
Senior BJP leader Brigadier Khushal Thakur attacked the Congress and said that Congress leaders are talking nonsense in Himachal after seeing defeat. People remember when the bodies of the martyred soldiers of the country were also found and in today’s India, the Indian Army enters the enemy’s house and kills them. This is the same Congress brother who asks for proof of surgical strike from the army, this is the same Congress who worked as broker in defense deals. He clarified that the Agniveer scheme is a guarantee of employment and no Agniveer needs to wander anywhere because there is a strong and soldier welfare government at the center to take care of them.
He said that Congress should look into its own affairs. The list of Congress’s defence scams is very long. Submarine scam, Navy War Room scam, Adarsh Housing Society scam, Agusta Westland helicopter deal scam, Bofors deal scam, Army truck jeep scam and many more scams are on the head of Congress. While opposing BJP, today Congress raises questions on the army.
BJP’s central government has worked to strengthen the army in the last ten years. The Modi government has implemented the One Rank One Pension scheme. Today, the country’s defence exports have increased from 1600 crores to 16000, which reflects Narendra Modi’s decisions to strengthen the army. Today, the country’s army does not look towards the central government to fire a bullet at the soldiers standing on the borders. The army has been strengthened on every front, whereas the Congress has always done scams in defence deals.
