Congress to start “Hath Se Hath Jodo” campaign in Himachal from January 26
Congress President MP Pratibha Singh has told that Congress is going to start Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign in the state from January 26. He said that this campaign is a part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. He said that in the Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign, the leaders and workers of the party will go door-to-door to convey Rahul Gandhi’s message of national unity.
Addressing a press conference at Rajiv Bhavan today, Pratibha Singh said that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has received huge support from the people in the country. He said that Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir would conclude on January 30 at the State Congress Headquarters in Srinagar. This Padyatra of Rahul Gandhi has been historic and very successful.
Pratibha Singh said that the country is passing through serious challenges due to the dictatorship and anti-people policies and decisions of the Modi government at the Centre. He said that rising inflation and unemployment in the country are the result of BJP only. He said that the country’s economy has been badly affected due to demonetisation. The industry of the country has become busy. Unemployment has broken all records.
Pratibha Singh said that before coming to power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had talked about providing two crore jobs every year. He said that today this government has completed eight years, in such a situation, 16 crore jobs would have been available in the country, which did not happen.
Pratibha Singh said that Congress will knock the message of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra on all these issues in every house of the state under Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign. He said that in this campaign, all the leaders and office bearers of the party, all the office bearers and workers of leading organizations and departments have been ensured their presence in this event by coordinating with the Block Congress Committee in their respective constituencies.
During this, State Congress General Secretary Yashwant Chhajta, Devendra Bushhari and Secretary Spokesperson Sushant Kapret were also present with him in the press conference.
Pratibha Singh said that she would start this campaign from Joginder Nagar in Mandi district from January 26. During this, Raghuveer Singh Meena, the central in-charge appointed for the Hath se Hath Jodo campaign in the state, and Sanjay Dutt, secretary of the All India Congress Committee and co-incharge of state affairs, will also be present with him.
