Congress should not try to disrupt the Bhanupalli-Bilaspur rail project, cooperate: Nanda

BJP media in-charge and department coordinator Karan Nanda said that the state government is trying to disrupt the work on the Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Barry rail line project, while the central government has provided full support for this scheme, whereas Himachal Pradesh has The state government has tried to slow down the progress of this project by denying funds for it.

He said that Himachal Pradesh’s ambitious Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Barry rail line project is facing financial crisis and the present Congress government has completely negative intentions behind it. The state government has to spend 100 percent of the money for land acquisition of the proposed railway line from Bilaspur to Barry, which the government is not doing. The state government has flatly refused to give an estimated amount of Rs 1100 crore for this. Leaders and government officials of Himachal Pradesh have said this to the Central Government.

Ever since this Congress government came to power, it has been complaining only about the financial situation, it has nothing to do with whether the schemes benefitting Himachal Pradesh are completed or not.

Earlier, when there was BJP government in Himachal Pradesh, an expenditure of Rs 800 crore was spent for this work, now the expenditure on this project has been stopped.

He said that the completion of this project will be of great benefit to Himachal Pradesh. The progress of Himachal Pradesh will get wings in terms of tourism, business, transportation and all small aspects.

Bharatiya Janata Party believes that the Himachal Government should allocate money for this project with immediate effect so that the progress of this project does not get hampered and as soon as the target was set many phases of this project should be completed in 2025.

He said that the entire leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party and all the previous governments have made important contributions in getting this scheme off the ground. A state gets such big projects through tireless hard work.
