Congress is going back on the promises of its manifesto: Jamwal
BJP State General Secretary and MLAs Rakesh Jamwal and Trilok Jamwal said that the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh is constantly working to mislead the innocent people of the state.
We will talk in the context of employment, a sub-committee has been constituted by the state government regarding employment, which is headed by Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan and with him, Ministers Jagat Singh Negi and Rohit Thakur are members.
Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan’s statement came in the meeting of the sub-committee held recently that he will provide jobs to 20000 people every year in Himachal Pradesh, whose total in 5 years will be one lakh.
Regarding this, he has also sought a list of vacant posts from all the departments, boards and corporations of the government.
BJP wants to remind the Congress government that when their manifesto for 2022 was released, Congress has clearly said that 100,000 government jobs will be given in the first meeting of the cabinet as soon as the government is formed. The youth will get new opportunities, now the first cabinet meeting of the state government has taken place but no such announcement has come before the public.
It has also been clearly written in the manifesto of the Congress that a total of 500000 youths will be provided employment in the state, but now the Congress party is talking about 100000 lakh jobs.
This explains the policy and intention of the Congress party to mislead the people of Himachal Pradesh.
It was also said in the pledge letter of the Congress party that the recruitment of every department will be done through the Staff Selection Commission and the Service Commission, but now the sub-committee says that all the recruitments will be done through the sub-committee.
He said that the people of Himachal Pradesh are waiting for the fulfillment of ten guarantees of the Congress party, but the way the Congress party is working, it does not seem that these guarantees will be fulfilled anytime.
BJP leaders said that the Congress government has not yet been able to issue notification regarding OPS, now Chhattisgarh’s OPS notification has also been issued on January 23, 2023, which was eagerly awaited by the state government, but even after that no notification has been issued yet. The Congress party has failed to bring any kind of notification before the public.
