Congress is closing the Loktantra Prahari Samman Nidhi: Bhardwaj
BJP Shimla Mandal organized a silent procession which was presided over by Mandal President Sunil Dhar. Senior BJP leader and former minister Suresh Bhardwaj and state media in-charge Karna Nanda were specially present in it. The silent procession went from CTO to Vibration Hall Ganj Bazaar.
After that, a district level program was organized in Vibration Hall in which Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur was present as the keynote speaker. Jairam said that Emergency is the most important chapter of India. He said that the Congress government has money to give additional facilities to the MLAs by making them CPS. There is money to put up hoardings of Naya Daur and Vyavastha Parivartan in the entire state. But there is no money to pay only 80 Loktantra Praharis. Here it is not a matter of money but of intentions. How can the party that strangled democracy by imposing Emergency respect those who freed the country from the dictatorship of one family. This shows that neither Congress believes in democracy nor does it respect those who fought for democracy. Democracy was restored again in the country but democracy ended forever in the Congress party. Even today Congress has remained a party in the interest of only one family. Today Congress leaders are spreading false propaganda in the name of the Constitution. It is their grandmother who had changed the Preamble of the Constitution which is called the soul of the Constitution. The same dictatorship is being seen in Himachal as well. We will not let them become autocratic. We will oppose their wrong decisions. We will fight to any extent for the interests of Himachal and Himachalis. We have got this inspiration from those democracy guards who fought to restore democracy in the country without caring about the consequences. We remember this period of dictatorship as a black day so that the coming generations also remember it.
Suresh Bhardwaj said that the Congress party which is closing the Loktantra Prahari Samman Nidhi has such a tendency that they have been killing the Constitution since long. When emergency was imposed in the country in 1975, lakhs of people were put in jail after that, despite the fact that the families of those people were getting the benefit of this scheme, they closed this scheme. He said that the party which can give the slogan of Indira is India and India is India, how will it save the Constitution. Under this scheme, such families used to get the benefit of 20000 annually, that too was not seen by these people.
BJP media in-charge Karan Nanda said that on 25 June 1975, emergency was imposed in the country which is celebrated as a black day by the Bharatiya Janata Party and the whole country. Similarly, Hitler rule is prevailing in Himachal as well.
The Chief Minister himself is acting as a dictator. Whatever seems right to him is the rule for him. Breaking the rule at a place which is wrong for the public is right for the Chief Minister.
Nanda said that the way BJP candidates are being harassed and earlier, wrong FIRs were lodged against them, how police were created, their businesses were damaged, their businesses were shut down, such challans were issued in one day that they suffered a loss of about 50 lakhs and the Chief Minister is harassing them completely by acting like Hitler. This time it has exceeded all limits, family members, relatives, friends of BJP candidates are also being harmed, no step is being left unturned through the power so that these leaders are put on the back foot.
