Congress’ guarantee void, attempt to change agenda: Bindal
Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal while giving a statement said that an advertisement has been published in the newspapers today on behalf of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and looking at that advertisement it becomes clear that the Congress government of the state is in power. The Congress Party government gives the guarantees for coming into India—the way the people of Himachal Pradesh were camouflaged. In the last two budgets, not even a single penny was spent for the public.
Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that this advertisement of theirs is self-speaking. Under this, 22,00,000 sisters were to get Rs 1500 per month. There is no mention of him. Not a single sister found even a single penny inside it. He said that the Congress government has written its achievements of 2 years in this advertisement. The Congress government had said that we would take milk at Rs 100 per liter, there is no mention of that.
The State President said that the present Congress government had guaranteed that we would provide 300 units of electricity free within the first cabinet. There is no mention of it in this advertisement. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had said that we would employ 1,00,000 unemployed youth in the first cabinet, but there is no mention of it, the state government had said that we will employ 5,00,000 unemployed youth, but there is no mention of it in this advertisement. There was talk of buying cow dung from the farmer at Rs 2 per kg. Various types of promises were made to the women. There is no mention of any kind inside it.
He said that the Congress government of the state had accepted the guarantees given by the Congress government, the issues on which he had come to the election field, based on which the people of Himachal had elected him to power. Leaving all those issues aside, the Congress Party and the state government have once again come up with new issues to mislead the public and this is again to create an atmosphere of confusion in the 2024 elections. The Congress Party and the Congress Government are working on this well-thought-out strategy.
State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that on behalf of the people of Himachal Pradesh, we want to tell the Congress Party that the Congress Party government has helped the people of Himachal Pradesh, 22,00,000 sisters, 20,00,000 farmer families, 20,00,000 electricity consumers. And has cheated 5,00,000 unemployed youth. He said that neither any provision has been kept in the budget nor the present government has fulfilled the promises made to the outsourced employees and small employees, nor is it moving in the direction of that promise.
