Congress govt’s protest outside the assembly – a serious question mark on the constitutional system: Dr. Rajiv Bindal
BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that this is the first time in Himachal Pradesh’s political history that the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, ministers, and MLAs of the ruling party have walked out of the Assembly session during their own government and staged a sit-in protest. He described this as extremely unfortunate for democratic traditions and a crisis to the constitutional system.
Dr. Bindal said that the Congress government’s sit-in protest with placards in the Assembly premises and the ministers’ sloganeering on the streets are living proof of the state’s plight. Those in power have themselves abandoned power and taken to the streets—a clear indication that the current Congress government has admitted its utter failure in governing the state.
He said that the Congress betrayed the trust the people of Himachal Pradesh placed in the Congress, entrusting it with the responsibility of power in 2022. The Congress government, which came to power based on lies and deceit, has left the state financially and administratively bankrupt in three years. Thousands of senior citizens are forced to take to the streets to fight for their rights, and ironically, the government is also taking to the streets to raise slogans at the same time.
Dr. Bindal said that the public is asking why the complainants are on the streets because the government itself is usurping their rights, but those who enjoy full power have also taken to the streets—so such a government has no moral right to remain in power. The current Congress government has lost its existence and its right to remain in power.
He said that a debt of 45,000 crores in three years, an army of over 50 chairmen and vice chairmen, and protection to the mafia—these are the very things that keep this government running. Now, when the public is asking questions, the government is busy taking to the streets, abusing Modi and blaming the BJP. If you are so fond of sloganeering, then leave power—the people will run the government themselves, and Congress can continue to chant as many slogans as it wants.
Dr. Bindal said that after three years of abusing the BJP, Congress has now taken on the responsibility of abusing the RSS. Responsible for the partition of the country and the massacre of millions of Indians, Congress is now abusing the volunteers who protected the public in times of crisis.
He said that the Congress party, which patronized those who sought to disintegrate Mother India, handed over 40,000 square miles of land to China, allowed genocide to occur in Kashmir for years, and created a vote bank by settling 100 million infiltrators in India—is now daring to label the Sangh as anti-national. The country has already learned the character of the Congress party, which consistently insults the Ram Temple, the birthplace of Krishna, and patriotic revolutionaries.
Dr. Bindal said that the Congress party’s cup of sins has reached its limit, and therefore its elimination from the entire country is inevitable. After the crushing defeat in Bihar, the Himachal Pradesh Congress government has now taken to the streets to vent its anger.
