ANPR cameras will be installed at 10 places in Shimla district: SP Shimla

Police Superintendent Shimla Sanjeev Kumar giving information in the meeting in Gandhi said that the police department proposed to install automatic number plate identity (ANPR) camera at 10 locations in the district. These cameras will identify the driver driving there at high speed, they will also be helpful in reducing road accidents. He said that in addition to this speed meters will be installed in Shimla city as well as other places.

Public Welfare, Police, Transport, Health and Family Welfare, Municipal Corporation Shimla and NHAI were present in the meeting.
