Congress has failed in three years, going on hunger strike while in power is drama: Bindal

BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, saying that it has been more than three years since the Congress government came to power in the state, and during these three years, the government has proven to be a complete failure on every front. Today, to hide their failures, the Chief Minister, ministers, and the entire Congress party are staging another political drama.

Dr. Bindal said that it is extremely unfortunate and ridiculous that the entire government running the state is on a hunger strike today. The Congress government is in power, and the public had placed high hopes on it, but today, from the Chief Minister to the ministers, everyone is staging a drama on the streets. What greater misfortune could there be for the state than that those running the government are protesting against the government?

He said that the Congress party is so offended by the name of Shri Ram that the government has moved to completely reject the “Ji-Ram-Ji” scheme, which aims to benefit millions of villagers. This scheme, rooted in the vision of a developed India, is poised to create a new history of service, employment, and development for every village in the future, but because of the association with the name Ram, the Congress government is unable to accept it at any cost. This exposes the Congress party’s appeasement and anti-Ram mentality.

Dr. Bindal said that the Congress government, intoxicated with power, is misusing the police machinery by filing false cases against opposition leaders and workers. Ward members, Panchayat heads, BDC members, Zilla Parishad members, MLAs, and senior leaders associated with the BJP are all being systematically harassed. This harassment is ongoing throughout the state, which is extremely dangerous for democracy.

He said that the people of the state are completely fed up with the Congress government. The government is no longer governing, but training itself to conduct strikes. Raising placards and staging hunger strikes signal that the Congress government has accepted its departure as certain. Very soon, the people of the state will oust this incompetent and drama-mongering government from power.
