Congress conducts workshop to train candidate for counting of votes
Himachal Pradesh Congress Incharge General Secretary Rajeev Shukla conducted a online counting guide workshop with all party candidates for EVM security and vote counting and gave important tips to all candidates. State Assembly counting to be held on December 8, Congress in-charge today conducted a counting guidance workshop with the candidates through conference calling, in which co-incharge Tajendra Bittu and Vinod Verma from Chhattisgarh as well as all Congress candidates attended the workshop. Rajeev Shukla also took feedback from all the candidates. Mr Shukla said that Congress is going to form the government by winning more than 50 seats in the state. All the leaders and workers of the party have unitedly worked for the candidates throughout the election and now there is a need to work with the same promptness till the day of counting of votes. Shukla reminded that right from the nomination of Congress candidates in Himachal Pradesh assembly elections to the gathering of huge crowd in the rallies of the Congress party, it proves that the Congress is forming the government in Himachal with more than 50 seats in the state with absolute majority. He said that party likely to return to power as there is widespread public anger against the BJP government and a wave of change of power in the state.He gave necessary tips to all the leaders for the security of EVMs and monitoring of strong rooms. He said that as usual after the assembly elections, the BJP may try to influence the assembly elections by tampering with the EVMs at the last moment. All leaders and workers should keep a close watch on the strong room and EVM so that no one can attempt to break into it. AICC general secretary saud that they should continuously remain at the counting place and keep monitoring. Vinod Verma informed all the candidates about the rules and precautions of vote counting through PPT. After this, a more detailed workshop was decided on 2nd December with all the booth agents.
