Cong to stop Agniveer scheme after coming to power in center

AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said today that Congress would stop recruitment of Agniveer after coming in  power at the Centre. Priyanka Gandhi was addressing a Parivartan Pratigya rally at Nagrota Bagwan in Kangra district Friday and canvassing in support of the Congress candidate R S Bali. Ms Vadra said former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has shown the right track of development to this hill state and former Transport G S Bali also helped the farmers in right perspective. She said both these leaders helped the people of Himachal Pradesh .  She said the Congress party is eager to wave off the loans of farmers.  Congress leader said that Congress government have waived off  farmers’ loans in all party ruled state.   Passing comment on rift ridden BJP She said Congress is campaigning and BJP is celebrating the rebels.  Amid the applause she said  that people of Himachal Pradesh want change and incumbent BJP government has drowned state in debt of Rs.70000 crore.. She also paid obeisance at one of the 52 Shakti peeths at Jawalamukhi Friday . It was series of 2nd public meeting of Priyanka Gandhi after the announcement of elections in Himachal . During today’s public meeting in the constituencies of Kangra district party candidate of  Dehra , Dr Rajesh Sharma addressed the crowd . All Congress candidates in fray from other assembly constituencies including Ajay Mahajan , Sudhir Sharma , Chnder Kumar , Mukesh Agnihotri , Ashish Butail , Surender Kaku , Sipiya , Rattan and other candidates were present .Earlier on October 31 , Priyanka had addressed a public meeting in Mandi . Before the announcement of the election, She addressed Parivartan Pratigya rally from Solan and expected  to address another at Hamirpur parliamentary constituency the home district of the Union Minister Anurag Thakur on November 7
