Competitions organized on Anti-Drug Day at Pragati ITI
An awareness program and various competitions were organized on the occasion of World Anti-Drug Day at Pragati ITI, Rajgarh. On this occasion, former Principal Dr. Komal Kumar Kohli addressed the students and explained in detail about the ill effects of drugs and urged the youth to play an active role in building a drug-free society. On this occasion, the Principal of the institute, Ajay Verma, also inspired the students to stay away from drugs and do positive work in the interest of society. He told that such social and awareness programs are organized throughout the year at Pragati ITI. Under the program, poster making, essay writing and poetry writing competitions were organized. Students participated enthusiastically in these competitions and presented their creativity and ideas in an impressive manner. Sandeep got first place in the poster making competition, Jyoti got second and Akhil Chauhan got third place. Akhil Kumar got first place in the essay writing competition, Vivek Thakur got second and Ajit got third place. Payal got first place in the poetry writing competition, Vishal Sharma got second place and Sahil got third place. All the winning participants were felicitated by the institute by giving them prizes and certificates. The institute’s staff members Ashish Kumar, Preetika, Diksha and other teachers and employees were present in the program.
